This
year’s conference featured 573 attendees, representing 47 language groups, with
20 presenters delivering workshops that focused on growth, continuity, and the
future of language education in Australia.
On Sunday,
June 2, 2024, the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc. hosted the
second annual Community Language Schools Extravaganza at the Sydney Town Hall's
Centennial Hall. This free event featured 45 community language school organisations, 29 language groups and over 540 students, who showcased their incredible talents through 67
outstanding performances. The event's success was largely due to the
enthusiastic support and remarkable performances of our schools, along with the
special contributions from Tekla Peterffy, Amanpreet Kamal, and Felipe
Basioli, dedicated Community Languages Schools Program Ambassadors.
Sponsored by Multicultural NSW.
We would
like to thank all of the community schools that were able to attend the 2024
Premier’s Harmony Dinner.
