“Open Theme – Free Choice” Artwork and Short Film Competition 2026

Be creative. Be original. Make it your own!

The NSW Federation of Community Language Schools invites community language school students to showcase their creativity in our 2026 Artwork and Short Film Competition.

This year’s competition is all about free choice and creative expression. There is no set theme—students are encouraged to explore their own ideas, imagination, culture, experiences and interests through an original artwork or short film.

Be creative. Be original. Make it your own! Winners will be celebrated and presented with their prizes at the Federation’s Annual Gala Dinner on Saturday, 28 November 2026.
