“Open Theme” – let our
students express themselves freely!
Create and submit your
artwork or short film to showcase your unique perspectives and
talents.
Winners will be honored at our exciting award ceremony.

Deadline:
Friday, 24 October 2025. Artworks must be received by close of business at 12A
Seaview St. Dulwich Hill, NSW 2203 (Federation's office)
Note: There is an access code required
to finalise your online registration request. Please ensure you have this code
ready to complete the process.
Drawing Competition Submission:
Size of Artwork: A3 white paper (no other sizes or materials will
be accepted).
Art Medium: Pencils, crayons, pastels, textas, or paint (no
collage materials).
Labeling: On the back of the artwork, in light pencil,
please write:

Category (A: 5-8 years, B:

Short Film Competition
Submission:
Length of Film: 3 minutes maximum.
Language: The film should be in the language of your
school/community with English subtitles.
Cloud Storage: We encourage you to use any popular cloud storage
service (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) to share the short film link.
Submission: Include the short film link in the online
registration form.
Age Groups for Artwork Competition
Category A: 5 to 8 years old
Category B: 9 to 12 years old
Category C: 13 to 18 years old
Prizes:
Drawing Competition:
First Prize: $100 for each category
Second Prize: $75 for each category
Third Prize: $50 for each category
Highly Commended Prizes: $20 each for 2 participants in each category
Short Film
Competition:
First Prize: $300
Second Prize: $200
Third Prize: $100
Awards Ceremony
Prize winners for both
the artwork and short film competitions will be announced and presented at the
Federation’s Gala Dinner, Saturday 22 November 2025.
