Expressions of Interest Now Open for the 2026 Community Language Schools EXTRAVAGANZA at Sydney Town Hall!

Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your language, culture, and your school’s performing talents together with other community language schools.

Dear Language Teachers, Principals, School Management, and Students,

We are excited to announce that Expressions of Interest are now open for the Community Language Schools EXTRAVAGANZA 2026!

The Federation warmly invites community language schools to nominate student performers to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, music, or instrumental acts at this special event.

Performance Guidelines:

• Duration: 2 to 5 minutes maximum
• Language: Performance in the language of your school/community
• Attire: National costumes are encouraged
• Please note: Only students enrolled in community language schools are eligible. External or professional groups will not be accepted.

Event Performance Details:
Date: Sunday, 31 May 2026
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Venue: Sydney Town Hall, Centennial Hall

To assist with planning and coordination, please include the following in your submission:

• Name and contact details of the person responsible for the performance group or solo act
• A short description and background of the performance
• A video link of the proposed act
