This workshop is designed for educators working in community language settings who support the language development of bilingual children learning a minority or heritage language.

By combining theoretical insights with practical, hands-on examples, the session will provide:

• Strategies teachers can apply directly in their classrooms

• Tools to enhance students’ language proficiency

• Approaches to strengthen cultural identity

• Ideas to foster active engagement with heritage languages

For Community Languages teachers, volunteers, parents, and carers in NSW Community Language Schools.

This course is specifically designed for persons who work with children. It provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response until the arrival of medical assistance.

A. HLTAID012 – Education First Aid, including CPR. Certificate valid 3 years - $130 per participant.

B. HLTAID009 – Perform CPR.

Provide CPR YEARLY REFRESHER COURSE. Course for anyone already holding a CURRENT First Aid certificate and wanting to renew their CPR qualification. Certificate valid 1 year – $70 per participant. 

Classroom training and pre-course online eLearning (to be completed prior to the course date).
